RDGA FAQ - Reno Disc Golf

Is there a fee to play?: No. As with many Disc Golf courses, The Ranch is free to the public.
Why are there only 9 holes?: The Ranch is entirely funded by community contributions & sponsorships
and the course is being built as that funding becomes available.
The current nine holes are numbered 10 - 18. Why not 1 - 9?: At the county's request, we were directed to begin
installation on the land designated for holes 10 - 18, (see course map).
Are there facilities at The Ranch?: The county has provided a porta-potty at the entrance to the course.
My group would like to arrange a tournament. How do we proceed?: The Ranch is a publicly accessible facility
managed by Washoe County. To reserve the park for a private function, you can
contact the Parks & Open Space Department at; http://www.washoecounty.us/parks
Are there other courses in the Reno area?: No. The Ranch is Reno's first ever permanent Disc Golf Course. Visit our
LINKS page for a listing of other area courses. (The nearest is in Truckee, CA).
Where can I purchase Discs in Reno?: Several local retailers have Disc Golf supplies in stock and some offer discounts
to RDGA members! See the LINKS page for a current list.
